Today, Amateur Radio provides the broadest and most powerful wireless communications capability available to any private citizen anywhere in the world!
If you are already a Ham or are interested in getting your license, you are invited to attend our monthly TCARA meetings at 7pm on first Thursday of every month or our monthly TC-ARES meetings at 7pm on the third Thursday of every month. Both meetings are at the Tyler County Emergency Management Building.

It is with great sadness that we must inform you that Dr. William “Jim” Beattie, KF5HRF, passed away this morning. Jim sustained serious injuries on Monday August 6, 2018, when he fell from his roof. After doing everything possible Jim succumbed to his injuries Wednesday morning. Please keep Jim and his family in your prayers. …
